Writing Test Format

The writing test is 60 minutes in duration.It will consists of the following tasks:

Task 1 (20 minutes)

A short descriptive essay of about 120 words.

Task 2 (40 minutes)

A short essay of about 200 words discussing a topic in some depth.

Note: For both Task 1 and Task 2 candidates are given a choice of two topics.
